DFA Lists 2 New ETFs

Dimensional Fund Advisors expanded its exchange-traded fund lineup last week, listing the new Dimensional U.S. Large Cap Value ETF and Dimensional Global Real Estate ETF, which offer access to a diversified set of domestic large-cap value equities and a variety of U.S. and international real estate stocks.

Both strategies are systematic active transparent ETFs built on Dimensional’s foundational investment approach, the firm said Wednesday.

“Dimensional has been investing in both large cap value and real estate securities for three decades, providing capital markets expertise that we have now made available within ETFs,” Co-CEO and Chief Investment Officer Gerard O’Reilly said in a statement. “These new funds allow financial professionals to deliver an increasingly comprehensive Dimensional investment experience across vehicles and asset classes.”

The new funds, which are listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), are:

  • Dimensional US Large Cap Value ETF (NYSE Arca: DFLV), a U.S. large-cap value fund that targets higher expected returns and consistent exposure through a daily flexible process. Net expense ratio: 0.22%
  • Dimensional Global Real Estate ETF (NYSE Arca: DFGR), a global real estate fund with market-wide REIT exposure on a market cap-weighted basis. Net expense ration: 0.24%.

Dimensional offers 30 ETFs that hold about $70 billion in assets under management and complement the firm’s mutual funds and separately managed accounts.

Earlier this month, Orion Advisor Solutions brought DFA’s new Core ETF Wealth Models to the Orion Portfolio Solutions platform.

The Dimensional Core ETF Wealth Models provide financial advisors the ability to create portfolios using Dimensional’s systematic, active ETFs with six different asset allocations. The models are:

  • Dimensional Core ETF 100/0 Wealth Model
  • Dimensional Core ETF 80/20 Wealth Model
  • Dimensional Core ETF 60/40 Wealth Model
  • Dimensional Core ETF 40/60 Wealth Model
  • Dimensional Core ETF 20/80 Wealth Model
  • Dimensional Core ETF 0/100 Wealth Model
