What You Need to Know

  • New features for eMoney Advisor's Bamboo tool include CRM integration with Redtail.
  • Veriti Management launched Console, a user interface intended to reduce the time needed to create fully customized equity portfolios.
  • Focus Financial Partners and CAIS Capital launched a customized alternative investments platform.

EMoney Advisor launched new features for Bamboo, its digital marketing and engagement tool, it said Wednesday.

The latest features include: customer relationship management integration with Redtail, email scheduling and customizable branding.

Citing one of the findings of a recent eMoney Advisor Investor Trend survey, the company said 32% of Americans not currently working with an advisor said they would consider working with one in the future if they communicated using easily understandable terms.

“Our recent product enhancements will enable [advisors] to implement these tools into their practice seamlessly, scale their marketing efforts, communicate with clients and prospects, and demonstrate their value as financial professionals,” according to Valerie Rivera, eMoney senior product marketing manager.

Veriti Unveils Console

Veriti Management, a direct indexing asset management and financial technology company serving institutions and wealth advisories, announced the availability of its new user interface, Console, on Thursday.

Via Console’s dashboard and dynamic environment, advisors can now sync client information with Veriti’s platform and database, minimizing the time needed to open and fund an account, it said. Background information including account size, tax rates and risk profiles immediately populate into Console’s client dashboard, it added.

Console’s interface and values data enables advisors to better understand their clients and, therefore, connect the financial plans they create to the portfolios managed for them, according to the company.

Background, educational materials and investment scenarios based on factors including environmental, social and governance values-based investing allow advisors and clients to have thoughtful conversations on everything from tradeoffs to tracking errors to tax loss harvesting, and why each matter, the company said.

Also, using enhanced technology, intuitive workflows and constant performance monitoring, advisors can “tilt toward ESG, remove specific sectors and/or countries, all with constant monitoring for potential portfolio trades or recommended rebalancing actions that can be executed by one click,” it said.

Console’s interface has made it easier for Virginia-based hybrid RIA and broker-dealer Keel Point to “shift sometimes awkward discussions from returns and performance to issues and values that help align their fabric to their portfolios while allowing to get to know them better,” according to Gisle Sorli, a CFP and wealth advisor at that firm, which has about $2.8 billion in AUM.

Focus Financial Teams Up With CAIS on Alts Platform

Focus Financial Partners and CAIS Capital on Feb. 10 announced the launch of a customized alternative investments platform the companies said was designed to meet the unique needs of firms in the Focus network.

The platform will provide access to various alternative investments, along with advisor education, independent due diligence and end-to-end digitized transaction processing and third-party reporting integrations, the companies said.

Noting that the CAIS Platform was “customized to meet the needs of our partners,” Rajini Kodialam, Focus co-founder and COO, said it “will deliver a curated selection of investment options and allow our partners to work with CAIS to add additional funds to the Platform.”

Focus partner firms will also “benefit from the digitized investment selection, transaction processing and integrated reporting with independent custodians and reporting firms, creating significant operating efficiencies around their investments in alternatives,” according to Kodialam.

CAIS will also provide to the Focus partnership CAIS IQ, a learning system to help advisors improve client outcomes. CAIS IQ content will be tailored to meet the unique needs of each Focus partner firm, Focus said.

Skience Launches Surveillance Solution

Skience, a financial services solution and consulting provider, introduced its new Skience Surveillance Solution, a tool that it said Tuesday enables companies to define approval and exception workflows that align with their company policies, or to adapt them as regulations change and their business evolves.

Financial services firm Lion Street will be the first adopter of the configurable platform, the firms said in a joint announcement.

Wealth management firms’ compliance teams need greater visibility into a client’s account to easily perform supervisory and compliance reviews and collaborate more effectively with advisors and support staff, according to the companies.

The new platform offers households, client and account-level information, along with 12 months of historical exceptions data, the firms said.

The launch follows Skience’s recent announcement of the expansion of its SkienceONE cloud-based wealth management platform for RIAs. Skience also recently launched Advisor Transitions Solution, a new tool that it said last year “streamlines, digitizes and simplifies the process” in which advisors switching wealth management firms can transfer client assets to a new platform.
