On Stage: The LUMINARIES 2023 Awards Ceremony

Meet the 2023 LUMINARIES winners who received their awards on stage at our Nov. 28 gala in New York and addressed the audience about their achievements. The venue was Gotham Hall, where we were thrilled to celebrate the awards with a crowd of about 200 guests.

The 2023 winners — along with those who could not attend the gala — were honored for the dynamic and inclusive ways they’re driving the wealth, investment and retirement industry forward in Community Impact, Innovation, Executive Leadership and Thought Leadership.

ThinkAdvisor launched its LUMINARIES program in 2021 to showcase the powerful, innovative ways the financial services industry is making a difference. We received a large number of nominations from firms and individuals working on programs to improve financial education nationwide, for instance, as well as from those pushing for new innovation and excellence in financial planning.

These initiatives exemplify that the industry can change how it views and improves the financial health of both clients and the wider community of prospective investors.

The Class of 2023 LUMINARIES winners were selected by a distinguished and diverse panel of judges from across the advice industry, as well by our editorial team. They reviewed entries to see whether or not the nominated firms and individuals have produced replicable, scalable efforts and “must-know” success stories that can help other advisors and firms.

In other words, does the potential winner serve as a stellar example of industry excellence and offer best practices to others? Firms of all sizes and specialties should be able to learn — and find practical guidance — from what these standout individuals and firms are doing.

Many congratulations to this year’s Class of 2023 finalists and winners, and many thanks to all the individuals and firms who participated in this year’s LUMINARIES program.
